Our competitive team has three different levels based on age and ability.
Pre-Company

Pre-Company, ages 5 - 7 years old. Younger students who wish to join DDA Competitive Company can get a start in our pre-company program. They are required to take 2 classes a week and also attend two or three competitions during the year to get a taste of the competition world.

Petite & Junior
Company

Petite & Junior Company, ages 8 - 12 years old. Our Petite &Junior Company team is a beginner / intermediate transitional team for students preparing to join our Elite Competitive Company. They are required to take 5 or 6 classes a week to include Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Tap, Hip Hop and Acro. They also attend two or three competitions during the year.

Elite Company

Elite Competitive Company, ages from 9 - 18 years old. The Duvall Dance Academy Company is a competitive dance team that travels and competes for National recognition. The Company competes in large and small groups, duos, trios, and solos. Each dancer is required to take classes that focus on ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, tap, hip hop, musical theater, and acro. They have classes 4-5 days a week, along with additional rehearsals!

Madelyn Bedell
“While Duvall Dance Academy has helped me grow as an individual, it has also taught me the value of teamwork.”
Madelyn has been dancing for 14 years, 4 of those years with Duvall Dance Academy. She will be graduating from Lake Brantley High School in May 2027. She then hopes to continue dancing for a college dance team while majoring in exercise or kinesiology to eventually become a physical therapist.
Aeriel has been dancing since she was 4 years old. This upcoming season is going to be her 5th year at Duvall Dance Academy. She is a dual enrollment student that will be graduating from Seminole State college. After Graduating she is hoping to study to become a physical therapist.
Kendall Padilla
Kendall has been dancing for 14 years and joined Duvall Dance Academy 10 years ago. She will be graduating from Lake Brantley high school in May 2027. After Kendall graduates she is planing on going to college to get her BSW with the goal of becoming a social worker.

Ava has been dancing since she was 3 years old. This year will make 7 years that she has been at Duvall Dance Academy. She is graduating from an online school this year and plans to pursue a career as a therapist while continuing to keep dance a part of her life. She hopes to stay involved in the dance community in some way, as she begins this exciting new chapter.

Gabriela has been dancing at Duvall Dance Academy for 14 years after beginning her dance journey at 3 years old. This year, she will be graduating from Apopka High School and plans to continue pursuing her passion for dance. Her goal is to become a professional dancer, tour with major artists, and eventually choreograph for them while also building a career as a physical therapist. Gabriela is currently the STG National Senior Title Winner and Senior Elite Reveler of The Year Title holder at Revel Dance Convention where she will also be entering her third year as an assistant.
