Our competitive team has three different levels based on age and ability.

Pre-Company
Pre-Company, which ages from 5-6 years old. Younger students who wish to join DDA Competitive Company can get a start in our pre-company program. The pre-company goes to two smaller competitions during the year to get a taste of the competition world.

Junior Company
Junior Company, which ages from 7-12 years old. Our Junior Company team is a beginner/intermediate transitional team for students preparing to join our Elite Competitive Company. The Junior Company attends two competitions a year. They are required to take classes in hip hop, jazz, tap, and acro.

Elite Competitive Company
Elite Competitive Company, which ages from 8-18 years old. The Duvall Dance Academy Company is a competitive dance team that travels and competes for National recognition. The Company competes in large and small groups, duos and trios, and solos. Each dancer is required to take classes that focus on ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, tap, hip hop, musical theater, and acro . They have classes 4-5 days a week, along with additional rehearsals!

Camryn R. Blake
Camryn Blake has been dancing at Duvall Dance Academy for 14 years. She started competing when she was 5 years old. This year, she will be graduating from
Apopka High School and wishes to continue her dance career as a professional dancer and also go to cosmetology school to be a hairstylist. Camryn is currently the Senior Elite Reveler of the Year title holder for Revel Dance Convention, where she is continuing her third year of being an assistant for the company. We love Camryn, and we can’t wait to see what she does in the future.
