Studio owner and dance instructor for 20+ years. Tamara trained in Cecchetti Method of Ballet and worked as a dancer on stage in musicals and was a member of the Dance Theatre of the Inland Empire in Southern California. She is a member of Florida Dance Masters where currently two of her students are holding titles as Jr. Miss Dance and Rising Star. She attended the University of California at Riverside and finished at UC Irvine in Dance Education
Danielle began dancing at the age of 5 under the direction of Jean Kettell. She was in the off-Broadway tap show, Five. She was also a dancer, stunt performer, and choreographer for Six Flags. She and her family recently relocated to Florida and are thankful for the warm welcome received from DDA.
Ariel is a 25 year old from Massachusetts and has been dancing since she was 10. Even though she got a late start, she trained with some of the best mentors she could have imagined. She received her degree in dance from Dean College in Franklin, MA, and a short while after became a proud member of the award winning company, Static Noyze. She traveled all over the East coast with Static Noyze and competed, performed, and taught with them. She has booked gigs with upcoming artists such as Bad Rabbits and Yiota Kariotis, and has also performed live with Janet Jackson her most recent tour.
Sean grew up in the dance competition world where he obtained a National Title with NYCDA, was awarded several scholarships including one to Joffrey Ballet in New York and Colorado Ballet. He has worked on cruise ships for Tokyo Disney, Disney World Florida and toured with the Bad Boys of Dance: Rock the Ballet in Europe 2011. His Choreography has won numerous awards at competition.
Sean obtained his B.S.B.A. in Finance from the University of Central Florida. He is working on his Masters degree in Economics. Sean currently lives and works in Dallas, TX.
Bonnie began dancing at the age of 6 where she spent her childhood studying and competing in dance throughout Central Florida. By the age of 12 she knew that in her tap shoes was where her heart was most happy and shifted her training to accommodate that. She began guest teaching at the age of 15, and improving her tap technique by studying under artists like Dianne Walker, Brenda Buffalino, Omar Edwards and Savion Glover.
She attended college at East Carolina University where she received her degree in Sports Medicine with a minor in k-12 Health Education. While at ECU she performed in 5 dance shoes, was a member of the Eastern North Carolina Jazz/tap ensemble that traveled across the state of North Carolina teaching and performing, and assisted local studios in building momentum for their tap programs. Bonnie moved back to Florida after college and began working as a Certified Athletic trainer and High school Health and PE teacher in 2004. She works full time at Lake Mary Preparatory school as their Head Athletic Trainer while also teaching Introduction to Sports Medicine courses.
Duvall Dance Academy is extremely lucky to have Bonnie on staff, as she has been able to utilize her kinesiology knowledge from her degree to help our dancers better understand their needs nutritionally as well as kinetically. Bonnie has been teaching with Tamara Duvall for the past 13 years where she has taught both recreationally and competitively. Her high energy, upbeat numbers have received numerous choreography and high score awards both regionally and nationally.
Belinda grew up in a dance studio and teaches the curriculum of the Royal Academy of Dance. She instructs Ballet and Pointe.
- An Orlando native, David competed in gymnastics beginning at the age of 7. He received a scholarship to Michigan State and captured many NCAA titles and All American honors. He has done many radio and club tours, and was a standout on NSYNC’s Tour.
