Duvall Dance Academy Offers classes for all age groups, and experience levels. We offer creative movement classes for children as young as three years old. We also offer advanced classes for teens and seniors. See below for a listing of our classes and times. Classes have limited space and maximum allowable headcount. This ensures that each dancer gets the attention they deserve. Classes fill up fast, and dancers are admitted on a first come/first serve basis. Please see the class schedule or contact us for more information.

_MG_7266Ballet Technique Beginner to Level 5

These classes are designed to give students a detailed knowledge of classical ballet which includes technique, alignment, terminology, musicality, and artistic expression. Basic anatomy is also taught to develop their understanding of how their body moves. Class consists to barre work, center work, and across the floor. Students are evaluated and placed in these levels by the Ballet Director. See the Class Schedule for more information about class times.


These classes focus on tradition
al jazz vocabulary and various styles of jazz including broadway jazz, lyrical jazz and commercial jazz. The class focuses on developing strength, flexibility, correct alignment, and coordination which draw heavily from ballet technique. Students will develop the ability to move quickly and think fast. Littles in YellowCreative Movement

These classes are for our youngest dancers. They focus on teaching the basic fundamentals of dance and encourage creativity through the medium of dance. Students learn to hop, skip, jump and to take direction with the use of small props. Please contact us for more details!


These classes are for 4 and 5 year olds. The class time is divided between both dance styles to give students a chance to develop their movement base and rhythm. Ballet basics are introduced in the center and tap combines dance and percussion. See the schedule here.


These classes are for 4 and 5 year olds. The class time is divided between both styles. The students are introduced to traditional jazz vocabulary based on broadway jazz. Arco is basic mat work to help strengthen the body and work on flexibility. See Schedule for More information

A high energy dance class based on street dancing that uses popular hip hop and pop music. The intricate movements, dynamics and body isolations build a dancer’s stamina while keeping them current in a field that is forever changing. Clean shoes are required to attend. Check the class schedule to find the time that’s right for you.



These classes focus on the tumbling aspect of gymnastics. Classes focus on building core strength and flexibility while acquiring valuable skills that can easily transfer to dance classes. See more here.



These classes explore the creative and artistic form of dance through a strong foundation in ballet an jazz technique. This style of dance is constantly changing an evolving with current trends. The students experience moving in and out of traditional techniques while picking up on new subtle movement challenges. Pointe classes build upon the ballet technique and offer students the chance to study classical ballet variations. Pointe work requires continuous study to develop the correct musculature. Students must be approved by the instructor to participate in pointe. Students must be enrolled in at least two ballet technique classes. See more here.
